UMH is going with Meru

After the University of Fucam in Mons, UMH has also chosen for Meru Networks. Many months of evaluations and visiting several reference sites of the different suppliers have preceded their choice. Especially the scalability of the solution, the attractive management platform and the security aspects were the mean reasons for choosing Meru. In the first phase, the hallways of the different faculties will be foreseen with a wireless network for giving access to the internet for students and professors.

Wireless internet access on the VUB/ULB university

In the summer of 2006, the Ministry of the Brussels-Capital Region selected Multicap and its partner Imtech Telecom to provide wireless internet access on the VUB/ULB university campus in Brussels to whoever wants to make use of it. On behalf of the Ministry, the Brussels Regional Informatics Centre (BRIC) chose our solution based on the Meru Networks technology. A total of 90 Access Points have been installed to give broadband internet access to all interested students and other visitors to the campus site.
