As it turned out that their current wireless technology was announced to be end-of-life, Morrisville decided for a new solution which would be meeting the demands for increased wireless performance and mobility. With its fouth generation WLAN architecture, Meru Networks offers just that. A total of 900 new Meru AP-300 Access Points will be installed on the university campus. Supporting the new 802.11n standard, they remain backward compatible with 802.11a, b and g. Even in environments with high user densities, users will be able to download e.g. an entire DVD in 30 seconds!
