Carrier class laser
fSONA stands for carrier-class laser products. Their products are by far best-in-class. Laser products received a bad name due to bad installations and bad products. fSONA guarantees problem-free connections up to 4km at speeds of up to 1Gbps! The multiple fully redundant, high power lasers combined with the largest receiver aperture in the industry, are the secret weapons to achieve this.
E-, S- and M-series
fSONA offers 3 product series that correspond to carrier class laser. Depending on the distance and throughput needed, fSONA offers three types of lasers: the E-series, S-series and M-series. The E-series offers the highest flexibility with interchangeable interfaces but the lowest range whereas the M-series offers the highest throughput and range (up to 4km). The pictures below illustrate a real installation on 400m with a 155-M. The first picture is with a clear sky and the second one is when fog limits the visibility to a couple of meters. In both scenarios, this link remains bit error free (BER = 0) !

NEXT-series
The NEXT-series is a compact FSO wireless communication system. It provides reliable and sercure point-to-point wire speed Fast and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity from 20m to 650m. These are your standard laser solution for small and medium range.
The NEXT series products feature Power-over-Ethernet interface for an easier installation. The system integrates an enhanced device management platform and the possibility of remote monitoring of the equipment.
