Licensed connections are nearly always FDD (Frequency Division Duplexing) which results in point-to-point radios as each system needs a diplexer and two individual radios per link. One could choose TDD (Time Division Duplexing) as well as this is not related to the frequency one chooses. Nonetheless, this is only done for Multipoint systems based upon the 802.16d and 802.16e WiMAX standards. This category thus holds the WiMAX products.
