Best of Breed Indoor WiFi
The ORiNOCO Access Points have always been praised for their reliability, stability and high range. These WiFi compliant in- and outdoor access points are stand-alone access points that can be centrally administrated, monitored and configured through the optional ProximVision appliance. The all-new AP-800 and AP-8000 now also bring enterprise class 802.11n support to the market. These APs again excell in range, throughput and stability. Early tests show over 170Mbps net throughput! The AP-8000 is also the first AP supporting dual 11a, 11g or 11n operation on one AP! Moreover, it are the first APs to support 3x3 11n operation with 802.3af power, eliminating the need for costly 802.3at high power injectors.
High performance and secure outdoor links
The Tsunami outdoor point-to-point and point-to-multipoint product range offers half duplex MP.11 and MP.16 products as well as the full duplex GX series. The MP.11 is available in 2.4GHz as well as in 5GHz and even in 4.9GHz. The MP.11 excells in reliability and ease of installation. The MP.16 is the 3.5GHz WiMAX certified version of the pre-WiMAX MP.11 product and brings a new philosophy to the WiMAX market. The MP.16 allows you to start with a single sector with an all-outdoor setup which can grow to a full blown six-sector setup at prices far below your normal WiMAX implementation.
Setting new standards
New to the product protfolio is the Tsunami 81xx series. These devices offer bandwidths up to 300Mbps and 200Mbps net data rate in the 5GHz band. This both in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations and even up to 15km distance!
