De digitale werkplek begint met een betrouwbaar netwerk

The Digital Workplace Starts with a Reliable Network

The modern office environment has changed dramatically over the past few years. Employees are more mobile than ever, work from flexible workspaces, move continuously between meeting rooms and work areas, and expect the same seamless user experience wherever they are. At the same time, video conferencing, cloud applications, and online collaboration have become essential business tools since the COVID pandemic.

As a result, Wi-Fi is no longer a convenient addition to the network; for many organizations, it has become the primary access layer for business applications. Laptops, smartphones, and tablets now connect more often via Wi-Fi than through a network cable, and many devices no longer even include an Ethernet port. This places new demands on the wireless infrastructure.

For more than 35 years, Multicap has been helping organizations prepare their networks for this new reality, ensuring that employees can remain productive anytime and anywhere.

High-Density Wi-Fi for the Hybrid Workplace

Today's office environments are among the most challenging wireless deployments. Where a single access point was once sufficient for an entire department, modern networks must now support hundreds of simultaneous connections across workspaces, meeting rooms, collaboration areas, and common spaces.

In addition, video meetings, cloud applications, screen sharing, and real-time collaboration generate significantly more traffic than traditional office applications.

A high-performing network therefore requires much more than simple coverage. Capacity, roaming performance, application responsiveness, security, and overall user experience must all be considered from the very beginning of the design process.

We design, optimize, and validate Wi-Fi networks that allow employees to work, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly, regardless of where they are located within the building.

Understanding the Real User Experience

A network can appear technically healthy while users still experience problems. That is why simply monitoring access points and switches is no longer enough.

The actual user experience depends on the entire chain: the wireless network, the user's device, the applications being used, the internet connection, and the underlying cloud or business services.

Our monitoring solutions view the network from the user's perspective. We analyze not only the infrastructure itself, but also client performance, roaming behavior, application responsiveness, video conferencing services, and end-to-end connectivity.

This allows issues to be identified faster, resolved proactively, and often prevented before users even notice them.

Connecting Locations Without Limitations

Many organizations operate across multiple buildings, campuses, or locations. In some cases, offices need to be connected to adjacent warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or logistics sites.

Our wireless point-to-point links provide a fast, reliable, and cost-effective way to connect buildings and locations without extensive civil works. The result is a single integrated network that enables employees, applications, and systems to work together seamlessly.

Where wireless links are not feasible, we can also provide alternative connectivity solutions such as SD-WAN, ensuring performance, redundancy, and availability across all locations.

Lighting That Does More Than Illuminate

Lighting has a greater impact on employee well-being and productivity than many organizations realize. The right light intensity and color temperature contribute to concentration, comfort, and a pleasant working environment.

With Lynx Lifeline, lighting becomes an intelligent part of the building infrastructure.

Visitors can be guided to meeting rooms or specific destinations through dynamic light paths, creating an intuitive wayfinding solution without the need for additional displays or complex signage.

In emergency situations, the same infrastructure transforms into a dynamic evacuation system that actively guides people towards the safest available exit. Unlike traditional emergency signage, the system takes the location of the incident into account and directs employees and visitors away from potential danger zones.

Lynx Lifeline also functions as fully certified emergency lighting. Because the emergency lighting functionality is integrated into the general lighting system, it provides a uniform level of illumination throughout the building instead of the isolated light spots created by traditional emergency fixtures.

A Healthy Workplace for Employees

Workplace comfort is determined by more than ergonomics and interior design alone. Environmental conditions also play an important role in employee well-being, concentration, and productivity.

Our sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels, pressure, and other relevant environmental parameters. This provides facility managers and building operators with continuous insight into workplace conditions.

When values move outside predefined limits, automatic notifications can be generated, allowing corrective action to be taken quickly. This not only improves employee comfort but also supports sustainable building management and more efficient energy usage.

The Smart Workplace of Today and Tomorrow

From high-density Wi-Fi and performance monitoring to intelligent lighting, wayfinding, inter-building connectivity, and environmental monitoring, our solutions help organizations create modern workplaces where technology supports employees instead of slowing them down.

Because a successful workplace is about more than connectivity alone. It is about people who can work comfortably, collaborate efficiently, and rely on the digital infrastructure they need to perform at their best every day.
